Miss World 2022 is… Miss Poland! Karolina Bielawska was named the most beautiful woman in the world on Wednesday March 16 in Puerto Rico, during the final of the international beauty contest. Initially, the event should have been held on December 16. But cases of Covid-19 had been detected after the arrival of the competitors on site. The postponement was therefore quickly acted upon. April Benayoum, French representative, who celebrated her 23rd birthday on Wednesday, landed a nice top 13. French viewers were able to discover her performance in the heart of the night on Paris Première.
Clémence Botino, who was ranked 9and at Miss Universe last year, was able to comment on the election for French television. Behind the scenes, she then celebrated the ranking of April Benayoum – Miss Provence 2020 and first runner-up of Miss France 2021 – alongside Sylvie Tellier, general manager of the Miss France company, Diane Leyre, Miss France 2022, and Maëva Coucke, Miss France 2018. Sylvie Tellier congratulated her protege on social networks.

It was therefore Karolina Bielawska, alias Miss Poland 2019, who won the Miss World crown, two years after Toni-Ann Singh, Miss Jamaica, crowned in 2019. The latter has also retained the title for two years since the 2020 election was canceled due to the pandemic.
