Since Monday, March 7, the college of Deux-Pins in Frontignan has launched an operation to recover products destined for Ukraine.
The proposal of the history-geo teachers of the college of Deux-Pins de Frontignan – in particular by posters plastered in the establishment – did not take long to materialize in the facts. For the past week, the students have been actively participating in a collection of products destined for Ukraine.
A list drawn up by the CCAS
“We base ourselves on the list drawn up by the city’s CCAS”announces Virginie Bellaj, teacher and one of the initiators of this collection. “It is therefore essentially hygiene products, care products and first aid kits that are in demand”. Last week, five boxes were closed in this way. Others will leave in the next motorcade on Thursday.
College students involved
Thereby, “we have a few students who arrive well before college opening time to pick up the donations and put them in these boxes”, explains the teacher. These are then brought to the project house.
