Game news Call of Duty Vanguard: Maps, free equipment, Valentine’s Day… All you need to know about Season 2 of Activision’s FPS

After unveiling the content to come in Warzone, Activision is now focusing on Call of Duty: Vanguard. And that’s good because with the launch of Season 2 (which will take place on February 14), the title will be entitled to many new features.

Two new cards on the program

The great novelty of Season 2 of Call of Duty: Vanguard obviously lies in the arrival of two new maps. The first one, casablanca, is a medium-sized map that offers you to go to Morocco. It will include many buildings that it will be possible to explore, but also a gigantic market square.

The second, Gondola, much more vertical, offers budding soldiers the opportunity to fly over a gigantic ravine and take position in caves or even head towards the power plant. Players will also be able to take position in the fire watchtower to surprise enemies, but be careful, as it can be destroyed. Much like Casablanca, Gondola is a card that favors close combat and is medium in size.

Ranked mode is finally here

If Call of Duty: Vanguard was missing a mode, it’s Ranked. Fortunately, Season 2 of the game will rectify the situation! Although this mode will only be available in its Beta version, it will still allow brave participants to prove their combat effectiveness. The more exploits you achieve and the more games you win, the more chances you have of having a good ranking and being recognized by the community. Unfortunately, we don’t know more about this game mode, but note that it will implement rules approved by eSports players.

Another mode will be implemented later, during the launch of the Mid-Season update. This game mode named Arms Race will allow players to pilot motorcycles, armored vehicles and transport vehicles to eliminate the opposing team.

Many upcoming events and free bonuses in the Battle-Pass

Of course, to celebrate the launch of Season 2, Call of Duty: Vanguard will offer players Double XP, but that’s not all. The title will also have the right to an event with the theme of Valentine’s Day. We can therefore expect a surprise game mode or even crazy costumes.

As with every update, Call of Duty: Vanguard also welcomes a brand new Battle-Pass. In addition to implementing exclusive operators for Premium players, this Battle Pass will also offer free content, starting with two new skills (Mechanic and Gunsmith) and a new killstreak which allows, against 12 kills, to control a gigantic aerial turret . Free sticky grenades will also be unlocked in this Battle-Pass.

What’s New for Zombie Mode?

For its part, Vanguard’s Zombie mode will also feature a new map. Title Terra Maledictathis new proposal offers you to survive hordes of zombies in the desert of Egypt, test new weapons (starting with the popular Ray Gun), discover new enemies and take control of a new artifact which has healing powers.
