Due to a large influx of donations since the beginning of March, the collection center set up at the Bruèges bowling alley must temporarily close its doors from next Monday.
“The trucks needed to deliver this humanitarian aid to Eastern Europe are all mobilized and rotations are no longer possible,” says Ales Agglo. “The storage capacities of the Civil Protection (which manages the logistics of Alesian donations, editor’s note) are at their maximum.”
The donation center will therefore close its doors on Monday, March 28. It will reopen, “as soon as possible”, when the delivery of donations can take place normally.
According to the Agglo, around 200 m3 of basic necessities have been collected in the Grand Alès since the start of the conflict.
