” LVictory will be ours,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a short video posted Friday on Instagram at 100e day of the Russian invasion in Ukraine. “The representatives of the state have been here, defending Ukraine for a hundred days”, he declares in this thirty-six-second video, filming himself in front of the presidential administration building in kyiv alongside his Prime Minister, Denys Chmygal, and the leader of the present party, David Arakhamia.
This video comes on the hundredth day of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, recalling another message filmed by Volodymyr Zelensky on February 25, the day after the entry of Russian forces into Ukraine, in the same place and with his collaborators, to reassure the Ukrainians . “We are all here, our soldiers are here, the citizens, society, we are all here to defend our independence, our state,” Volodymyr Zelensky said at the time.

Russia intends to “continue” its operations
For its part, the Kremlin estimated on Friday that it had fulfilled “some” of its objectives after 100 days of offensive against Ukraine, judging that “many localities” had been “liberated”, allowing the populations to return to “a life peaceful”. “This work will continue until all the objectives of the special military operation are fulfilled,” Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
After 100 days, however, the Russian assault on kyiv has failed and Russian forces are now focused on Donbass, the scene of deadly fighting for weeks. The Russians are making very difficult progress there. “As far as safety is concerned [des populations du Donbass], measures are underway, some results have been achieved,” said Dimitri Peskov. According to him, “many localities have been liberated from the pro-Nazi armed forces of Ukraine, as well as from nationalist elements”.
