The Witcher season three is currently being filmed in England, codenamed “Everyone’s Enemy”. News of the production of the Netflix series is scarce, and fans are struggling to find something to eat while waiting for the official broadcast. One of the directors, Gandja Monteiro, shared a short video on Instagram, in which we can have a glimpse of the shooting… And two characters if you look closely (you have to have the eye). A third season expected for 2023
In a few months, we will find Geralt (Henry Cavill), Ciri (Freya Allan) and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra). Many other characters will be there again, like Dandelion (Joey Batey) or Istredd (Royce Pierreson). What adventures will they live? The writer and creator of the series, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, revealed in an interview for The Wrap that this third season is based on the book “The Time of Contempt”. Netflix has also released some synopsis information for the season. Geralt continues to protect Ciri from her ever-increasing number of pursuers, while Yennefer is put in charge of the girl’s magical training.
Filming is expected to wrap in September 2022 and the broadcast of season 3 is scheduled for 2023but no precise date has been announced for the moment The prequel mini-series The Witcher: Blood Origins is currently in post-production and we should discover it at the end of the year, enough to wait for Géralt’s return, Yennefer and Ciri.
