Game news PS5: No Man’s Sky even more immersive than ever thanks to PlayStation VR2, a cosmic trailer
No Man’s Sky is an example for many: starting from little, it has arrived at many and continues its journey with PlayStation VR2 compatibility, freshly unveiled. And it will rock.
No Planet for Old Men
Very (too?) ambitious, No Man’s Sky is a game that has put stars in the eyes since its announcement. Only here, the developers saw things perhaps a little too big and when the title was released, it immediately fell into turmoil with a number of missing promised features and bugs all over the place. It was nevertheless on Hello Games’ efforts to correct the situation.
Today, the app is clearly an example of catching up. It’s treated itself to countless huge updates over years of activity (there was another one just recently, bringing the Leviathans), greatly inflating its content and carefully tweaking its experience. It has also been offered on new generation machines such as the Xbox Series and the PlayStation 5: it is in particular the latter that interests us today. Ready for a fantastic interstellar journey?
The PlayStation VR2 compatible with No Man’s Sky
It was therefore during the State of Play held last night by Sony and as part of the Summer Game Fest that No Man’s Sky gave some news: the space exploration game will be compatible with the PlayStation VR2, as soon as the latter is launched (we don’t know when yet). This is not the first time that the game is playable in virtual reality, since it was already with the first PS VR on PlayStation 4.
Nevertheless, this brand new headset dedicated to the PlayStation 5 should promise new sensations that will make the difference : the object will incorporate the same haptic feedback as the DualSense, allowing effects to be felt directly on the skull of its user. Similarly, the new controllers will greatly enhance immersion; not to mention 4K panels or eye tracking, which will greatly enhance gaming comfort.
We don’t have a date yet, but we do have a trailer., which you can taste at the beginning of the article, in our video player. Tempted by this eventful journey?
