Netflix said on Monday June 20 “deeply saddened to learn of the tragic accident that took the lives of Ray Garduño and Juan Francisco González”.
In a press release, the platform reacted to the death of two actors during an accident during the filming of the third season of the Brazilian series The Chose One, better known in France under the name of “Elu d’entre tous “.
Two dead and six injured
During a change of filming location, the van transporting the actors overturned after leaving the road, indicates the Variety site. The accident took place in a desert area of Mexico.
Raymundo Garduño Cruz and Juan Francisco González Aguilar are the two actors who lost their lives. During the accident two other actors and four members of the technical crew were injured.
The Netflix series was preparing its return, after two seasons of this adaptation of a comic book. The story revolves around a young boy, who discovers that he is the incarnation of Jesus Christ.
