The release of Horizon: Forbidden West is fast approaching, and what better way to promote the title than through another game? That’s exactly what Sony did by adding Aloy’s outfit to Ghost of Tsushima through a free update. We explain how to get it back.

If you too are one of the impatient people who can’t wait for the release of Horizon: Forbidden West, we have good news for you.. Unable to play the sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn before February 18, 2022, the studio behind the post-apocalyptic open-world action-RPG games has decided to make a small gift to the fans to help them wait. Indeed, Guerrilla collaborated with Sucker Punch to bring a touch of Horizon to the game that won the Game Awards 2020 Players Choice: Ghost of Tsushima.
It is through a free update that owners of the Sucker Punch game – and more specifically the Director’s Cut version – will be able to get their hands on an outfit from the Horizon: Forbidden West universeas you can see right here:
If you are interested in this outfit, know that this bonus only concerns the Director’s Cut version of Ghost of Tsushimaso you’ll need to upgrade your game to get access to Iki’s Island – if you haven’t already. Luckily, this update, which usually costs $19.99, is now priced at $14.99 on the PlayStation Store! Obviously, your game will need to be up to date to be able to access the new content, so you will need to download the latest patch to access version 2.15. Note that this update weighs about 3.6 GB.
As you might suspect, you’ll have to go to Iki Island to get your hands on this unique armor straight out of Aloy’s wardrobe. Fortunately, the small island on which the altar is located where you can get the armor is found at the very beginning of the expansion, just north of Iki. Swim to her, and read the inscription at the altar. This is a puzzle that you can solve by equipping the hat and armor of the legendary archer Tayadori and to use Jin’s power to see the statue’s weak points. Now all you have to do is shoot it to get Aloy’s armor.
