Game News Xbox: after The Elder Scrolls 6, Microsoft confirms the return of another flagship franchise

Starfield is the center of attention, that’s a fact. The next RPG from Bethesda is clearly a video game tsunami on which Microsoft is fully focused: however, the sequel has already been mentioned by the pundits of the American company… And yes, we are talking about Fallout.

War… War never dies

As part of the Summer Game Fest, Microsoft held a showcase that got people talking. Above all, Starfield was the big star of the conference: Bethesda’s very ambitious FPS-RPG galvanized attention. A thousand planets, endless factions, space battles… the experience promises to be more than complete. But after, what is planned on Xbox?

Todd Howard, one of the masterminds of Bethesda, spoke at the microphone of IGN: the sequel will be oriented on one of the greatest video game sagas, The Elder Scrolls. The planet is in turmoil (and rightly so), but Howard sees even bigger: who will succeed the great, the inimitable, the tireless Skyrim?

Fallout 5 is well and truly in the works

The mass is said: the sequel will be oriented towards the Fallout saga. Years after the fourth episode, other years after the MMO Fallout 76, it will be Fallout 5 that takes the throne.

Yeah, Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production and, you know, we’re going to be doing Fallout 5 after that, so our schedule is pretty busy for a while. We have a few other projects that we review from time to time as well.

So of coursewe will have to wait many years before seeing the slightest bit of Fallout 5 of which we know almost nothing. Recently, we learned that Bethesda had already prepared a script for the project… but it is still far from being finalized.

In the meantime, we remind you that Starfield is planned for 2023, and directly in the Game Pass.
