Game news Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Epic Games Store loses Borderlands 3 spin-off exclusivity
On March 25, a certain Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the Borderlands 3 spin-off was released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Unfortunately, for the latter platform, the title was exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Today, this is no longer the case.
A Steam version is approaching
The temporary Epic Games Store exclusivity of the PC version of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will have been short-lived… Indeed, 2K Games, the publisher, and Gearbox Software, the developer, announced today that the completely wacky shooter will land on Steam in just a few hours, starting June 23. Good news: this will allow more and more players to discover this amazing proposal, which received a score of 16 out of 20 in our columns.
With Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the goal was to create a new take on a familiar genre. Steam players are in for a heck of an adventure exploring Tina’s wild imagination, and cross-play gives our fans even more ways to take on the Dragon Lord no matter what gaming platform they choose. A DLC to accompany it all
This new release of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands comes with the launch of Molten Mirrors, the third DLC in the Mirrors of Myster expansion series which, as a reminder, started with Coiled Captors and Glutton’s Gamble. This new extension, available on all platforms from June 23, offers players the chance to fight Fyodor, the Guardian of Souls, for $9.99. Of course, everything is also included in the game’s Season Pass.
In Molten Mirrors, players will face Fyodor, the Guardian of Souls, who rules over his horde of lost souls deep within his mountain fortress. In order to break their chains, players must defeat Fyodor’s mechanical and deadly defenses.
On Steam, the game is available for $59.99 in its Standard version. The Chaotic Great version which contains the Season Pass is sold at $79.99. Note that these two editions will be on sale on Steam at the time of their launch. Finally, users who purchase the game on Steam before July 7 will also receive the “Golden Hero Armor Pack”.
