It is during the Xbox Extended Showcase organized by Microsoft on the sidelines of Summer Game Fest in order to reveal a little more in detail the content of its next titles that STALKER 2: The Heart of Chornobyl has offered a brand new trailer. Called “Enter the Zone”, this video gives us a glimpse of more than two minutes in immersion in what promises to be a unique survival experience. in the post-apocalyptic exclusion zone of Chornobyl.
Development continues in Kyiv and Prague
The Zone reveals a whole new world! We may cling to the old, fearing change… but tell us, do you want our descendants to remember us as cowards? Or of those who have dared to venture towards a new and better humanity?
These are the terms that we can hear at the turn of this trailer which reflects, by extension, the motivations of the development team of Ukrainian origin. The publisher Koch Media nevertheless wants to be reassuring:
Despite the current situation in Ukraine, development of the game continues in Kyiv. GSC Game World has also set up an office in Prague in the Czech Republic, where most of the development will take place. – Koch Media
The horror first-person shooter will invite you to play a major role in a non-linear story set in post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe. Made with Unreal Engine 5, STALKER 2: The Heart of Chornobyl will feature official mod support in order to offer talented Stalkers the freedom to expand and enrich the game universe. As for the multiplayer mode, it will be available shortly after the game’s release as a free update.

What is the program for Summer Game Fest 2022?
