Game News Spider-Man: a new costume has just fallen, and it’s on Fortnite that it’s happening
Spider-Man’s wardrobe is growing! Indeed, the hero has just woven his latest costume to show it off proudly in Epic Games’ Battle Royale: Fortnite.
A fashionable superhero
As you probably already know, Spider-Man has always been a superhero with an extensive wardrobe. If we have seen him more often in his red and blue costume from 1962, the friendly neighborhood spider has always enjoyed changing his outfit to entice the gallery. You only have to look at the game Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered to realize it, since in the open-world of Insomniac Games, the hero has more than 30 different skins, just that.
So today, Spider-Man returns with a new costume, and this time, it is not in the game published by Sony that it is revealed, but through the Battle Royale Fortnite.
Fortnite unveils an exclusive costume for the superhero
It’s been a few chapters now that Fortnite has a close link with the Marvel universe: recently, the game integrated a skin for Wanda Maximoff for the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and offered Spider-Man to come twirl between the buildings of the game map for the launch of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Even today, the Epic Games game is collaborating with the Marvel world to unveil a new costume for Spider-Man.
As you can see by looking at the images above, the latter is red, black and dark blue and is equipped with a Spider-Drone, which we imagine will allow it to fly over the large expanses of the map. Note that this new outfit is the first Marvel character skin to be completely exclusive to the Fortnite universe. Incidentally, this costume, named Spider-Man Zero, will be available as part of a new Fortnite X Marvel comic series that will be released on next june 8 : Zero War.
The Spider-Man skin will therefore be available as a code in the Zero War comic or in the Fortnite store. No price has yet been communicated.
