Game News Sonic Frontiers Prologue: A short animated film on the way?
The blue hedgehog Sonic was once again the star of the evening! After unveiling new excerpts from Sonic Frontiers, the hero who runs faster than his shadow revealed a little surprise: Sonic Frontiers Prologue.
An additional animated film for Sonic?
For a few days now, Sonic Frontiers has been sharing tons and tons of information with us. After revealing what its open-world contains and focusing on the combat part of its gameplay, the title unveiled during Sonic Central the presence of Sonic Frontiers: Prologue. But what is it ?
As you can see by watching the short teaser available above, it is an animated short film. The latter will be available later this year (before the launch of Sonic Frontiers) and will serve as an introduction to Sonic’s next adventure. That’s not all ! The few seconds also make it possible to realize that Knuckles will play an important role in this story which sends Sonic, Tails and Amy into a gigantic wormhole.
What format for Sonic Frontiers: Prologue?
For the moment, we know very little about this Sonic Frontiers: Prologue, but note all the same that this proposal will be a short film in 2D animation. It will be used to set the scene for this new adventure and to promote the game a few days before its launch.
Moreover, if you follow a little news around Sonic, it is not the only animation project dedicated to the blue hedgehog, since our favorite hero will also return in a Netflix series. The latter unfortunately has no release date, but know that it will allow us to travel to Green Hill, the verdant world of the universe, alongside Sonic and Shadow who has also decided to show himself during from Central Sonic.
As a reminder, Sonic Frontiers is expected on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
