Game News One Piece Odyssey: The future RPG of the famous manga gives us an appointment!
The Summer Game Fest is approaching and there are more and more announcements… After Sonic Frontiers and Xenoblade Chronicles 3, it’s One Piece Odyssey’s turn to give us some news.

Presented for the first time on March 28, during One Piece News Coo Online, the J-RPG One Piece Odyssey immediately aroused our curiosity. In addition to arriving at the right time, for the 25th anniversary of the saga, the game is presented under the best auspices: it is developed by Ilca, known for producing Pokémon Sparkling Diamond/Sparkling Pearl, and overseen by Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the manga, just that.

A game that honors the manga?
Unlike One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, this One Piece Odyssey intends to honor the initial saga in the most beautiful way. As we said a few lines above, mangaka Eiichiro Oda will work on this J-RPG. It is also he who will lend his pen to tell a new adventure that takes Luffy and his whole gang to an island sheltering ancient ruins.
Also note that this new story will allow us to discover new characters, but also to meet famous characters from the saga, starting with Smoker or members of the world government.
As a reminder, One Piece Odyssey is expected for the end of 2022 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
