Game News Nintendo Switch: a cult Pokémon game from the N64 back, the nostalgic trailer
The Pokémon saga dates back decades, we won’t teach you anything about that. And if you’ve had a Nintendo 64, then maybe you’ve had the opportunity to get your hands on Pokémon Snap, which will be making a comeback here through Nintendo Switch Online.
Snapchat pokemon version
In several decades of activity, Nintendo has sometimes tried concepts that are a little different from the traditional Pokémon formula. One of them, which made an impression, is called Pokémon Snap and was released in 1999 on the legendary Nintendo 64 with the following principle: the player embodies Todd Snap, called by Professor Chen to… photograph Pokémon.
We then found ourselves walking on an island to take the best shots of our favorite creatures, sailing to their “natural” occupations. A real safari that denoted particularly with the classic recipe, namely “capture them all” to, possibly, make them fight.
The Nintendo Switch Online to resurrect Pokémon Snap
If the game is about to make a comeback, it is not through a new software but rather through inclusion in Nintendo Switch Online. As a reminder, the latter is none other than Big N’s online service which not only allows you to play online, but also to have access to a whole catalog of Nintendo and Super Nintendo titles.
Since last December, the Japanese firm offers in addition (19.99 euros per year) the Expansion Passwhich allows him to play a whole list of Nintendo 64 games. Pokémon Snap will therefore be playable for everyone who is registered for the latter service.
A nice way to redo your culture: we recall that a “suite” had just emerged in 2020 on Switch, named New Pokémon Snap. Our test is also available at this address.
