Game News Between Resident Evil and Dead Space, Daymare 1994: Sandcastle shows gameplay at Summer Game Fest 2022

Expected for this year, the prequel to Daymare 1998 presents itself more on the occasion of Guerrilla Collective 3.0, as part of the Summer Game Fest. The Invader Studios teams have shared a short gameplay trailer to provide a first glimpse of their new game.

A prequel to Daymare 1998

Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle stands as the prequel to Daymare: 1998Survival-Horror originally released in 2019 and a kind of tribute to the Resident Evil formula adopted from Resident Evil 4. If the first game had not necessarily seduced at the time, he nevertheless had several notable qualities such as his puzzles, much more successful than those of his inspiration. With Daymare 1994, Invader Studios therefore wishes to develop its franchise and offer an even better experience than its predecessor.

A short gameplay trailer

With these few minutes, it is possible to see the first action images of Daymare 1994, which seems to offer an atmosphere between Resident Evil and Dead Space.

The heroine has several weapons allowing him to overcome humanoid creatures, and can take advantage of the environment to stun and eliminate opponents. In addition, there are severalsequences of puzzles to solve which will allow you to progress further in the different levels, as well as resource management within the inventory.

Daymare 1994: Sandcastle is due out later this year on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and GOG.
