New specialist, new weapons, new vehicles, DICE puts the package

But what would a new map be without new vehicles and a new specialist. With season 1 will therefore arrive Ewelina Lis, nicknamed LIS, an anti-vehicle specialist who joined the Sans-Patrie armed with his TGM rocket launcher and an armor tracker displaying all vehicles within a given distance.

An expert in anti-vehicle combat and originally from Gdańsk, Ewelina Lis enlisted in Poland’s elite special forces (GROM) at the age of 21. This dedicated, reckless and honorable fighter is able to overcome (or destroy) all obstacles.

At the same time, DICE has added a new crossbow (Ghostmaker R10) able to accompany stealth players and damage armored vehicles with explosive bolts, a rifle (DMR BSV-M) with a silencer and automatic fire option, as well as a smoke grenade launchers. But that’s not all, season 1 is also coming with the RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal stealth helicopters, able to drop bombs, send missiles, throw grenades and be piloted by two ! There is therefore plenty to do, and, obviously, the helicopters will be very useful to flood the windows of the base on Exposition.

A combat pass yes, but no “pay-to-win”

Season 1 of Battlefield 2042 couldn’t happen without offering a battle pass. Now part of the landscape, these allow players to have a goal, and to fight for skins, weapons, accessories or other rewards. Like other titles, Battlefield 2042 features a free battle pass, accessible to all players, and a paid premium battle pass, with 70 additional levels. However, and in order to avoid unbalancing the game, Premium Battle Pass exclusive rewards are cosmetic only.
