In 2020, Skydance Interactive released the first VR game from The Walking Dead universe. This one was called Saints & Sinners and turned out to be quite effective: visibly satisfied, the development studio and the publisher Skybound are giving it a layer with a Chapter 2 bearing the sweet subtitle of “Retribution”. To tell the truth, nothing new since this virtual reality game was already announced last April, during Facebook’s Meta Quest Gaming Show 2022.
Two months later, last night’s State of Play was therefore a nice way to Sony to add one more game to the program of its famous PlayStation VR2, exclusive to PlayStation 5: the software will be available on this platform, but not only since it will also be available on PS4 with the first PS VR. That way there will be something for everyone.

To announce the news, it was necessarily a trailer in good and due form and it is therefore Sony who took the liberty of revealing it: we can see a good part of the action, deliberately brutal and in which we will embody a survivor armed to the teeth. The frame will notably crash in the bayous of New Orleans and will handle a ton of deadly new toys, like the chainsaw. A classic.
