The third season of Umbrella Academy is available on Netflix from Wednesday June 22. You haven’t had time to discover the previous episodes or you have some memory lapses? Netflix thought of you and therefore released a short recap video before seeing season 3.
A video to refresh your memory
It’s almost time to find the crazy siblings of Umbrella Academyfrom the comics of the same name by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá. The seven super-powered siblings adopted by Professor Hargreeves will live new adventures as epic as wacky. Before its broadcast, Netflix planned a two-minute video summarizing the first two seasons.
After preventing the end of the world for the first time at the end of season 1, our heroes find themselves scattered at different times in the 60s following a time travel. Five, lands about ten days before a new apocalypse, and must therefore gather his family to avoid the end of the world once again. Everyone has more or less managed in their new temporality: Allison has found love, Luther has become a bodyguard, Diego is committed to a psychiatric hospital, Klaus, still followed by the ghost of Ben, finds himself at the head of cult and Vanya, who has lost her memory, lives on a farm. After many adventures, the siblings manage to stop the apocalypse againand finally thinks of returning to Umbrella Academy… which has in fact become Sparrow Academy !

The final footage from the second season had left the siblings in a new timeline, where they were never adopted by the still-living Reginald Hargreeves, and were therefore replaced by five other individuals also born on October 1, 1989 to form Sparrow Academy. And as if that wasn’t a big enough shock for them, Ben, their deceased brother, is also very much alive. If very little information on the scenario has been revealed, the trailer gives us a glimpse an inevitable rivalry between the two siblings and a new apocalypse in perspective.
We therefore find in the cast the Umbrella team with Tom Hopper (Luther), David Castañeda (Diego), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison), Robert Sheehan (Klaus), Aidan Gallagher (Five), Elliot Page (Vanya, whose name is Viktor in this new season) and Justin H. Min (Ben). They find themselves facing the Sparow Academy with Justin Cornwell (Marcus), Britne Oldford (Fei), Jack Epstein (Alphonso), Genesis Rodriguez (Sloane) and Cazzie David (Jayme) in its ranks, as well as Colm Feore in the role of Reginald Hargreeves.
