The Quarry, the latest creation from Supermassive Games (Until Dawn), has been available for a week now, however, as agreed, the Online mode is still not in the game. The English studio explains the reason.
The war in Ukraine, the cause of the delay
Almost a month ago, when The Quarry was still not available on our machines, Supermassive Games announced the bad news to players: at launch, The Quarry will not have an Online multiplayer mode. At the time, the British studio had justified this delay to give players “the best possible experience”, but it would ultimately seem that the truth is quite different. Indeed, today the developers have spoken again to say that this delay is ultimately due to the war in Ukraine.

A new date for the multiplayer mode
Despite this mishap, note that The Quarry already has a local multiplayer mode offering up to eight players to share the horrific experience, but that’s not all. We also learn that the Online multiplayer mode will arrive soon enough, since it should be released no later than July 8th.
