Game News Pokémon Scarlet Violet: New images, unpublished info… the 9th generation gives us an appointment!
It’s been three months since Game Freak announced the 9th generation of Pokémon, which will come to life in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple games. But since then, in addition to some information and theories gleaned here and there, we remained unsatisfied. A situation that will soon change, with an event just announced!
The ninth generation of Pokémon is approaching
On February 28, on the occasion of Pokémon Day, Game Freak unveiled Pokémon Scarlet / Purple, the two Nintendo Switch games that will compose the new generation of pokemon, which will be released at the end of the year. And who says new generation says new creatures, new intrigues, and new environment.
With these new games, Pokémon will continue its evolution, since we are promised a vast open world, with cities and wilderness integrated in a natural way and “without any transition”. Ambitions that evoke what we discovered with Pokémon Legends: Arceus last January, and which seems to have been the first attempt. The developers also indicated that:

We do not yet know precisely which region of the world these two new versions are inspired by, but everything leads to believe that it is about Spaina land still unexplored by the Japanese studio, which has already set foot in Europe with the United Kingdom for Pokémon Sword / Shield and in France in Pokémon X and Y.
