Game news High on Life: A Game Pass release date for the game from the creator of Rick & Morty!
High on Life is a wacky world, jokes, strangely shaped weapons that talk, in short, it’s strange and funny. Behind this title, which caught the eye of the public, we find Justin Roiland, the creator of the Rick and Morty series.
A completely barred universe
Developed by the Squanch Games studio, to whom we owe Trover Saves the Universe, High on Life is an FPS in which the player embodies a bounty hunter equipped with weapons that spend their time sending floodgates. Everything is very colourful, quirky and even irreverent, but the objective is serious, or almost: repel an alien invasion and prevent them from turning the planet, living beings and resources into drugs!
An official release date
Rick & Morty fans will obviously recognize creator’s paw, driven by the skills of the developers. In addition to the shooter component, players will be able to craft a larger inventory, enjoy a varied arsenal, and explore many environments. For the moment, we do not know if this title presented at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will be entitled to a French localization, but we now know when it will integrate the Game Pass! The delirious universe of High on Life will therefore open its doors on October 25, 2022 on Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC.
Unfortunately, the announcement of the release date does not allow to learn more about the game systems for the moment, the various environments offered, and the universe in general. But we shouldn’t have to wait very long, with the release slated for four months.
