Game news Gran Turismo 7: new cars, track and menus, all the details on the 1.17 update

Gran Turismo will very soon have a pleasing update for its many players, bringing something new to an already very generous content. Here is the program.

Three new cars (including a legendary one)

We didn’t tell you about it later than this morning following Kazunori Yamauchi’s teaser: three new cars are going to be delivered in this update 1.17, which will arrive tomorrow at 8am. And first of all, it is impossible not to mention the return of an emblematic vehicle, namely the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Special, which first appeared in 1998 in Gran Turismo 2. Here are the newcomers to the cast:

Three decidedly different cars – special mention to the Fort from the 1930s, certainly to be found at the dealership of legendary cars – which will most certainly find their audience. A trailer concocted for the occasion is also available above.

A new circuit, and not only

History to heat the rubber, Polyphony Digital announces the arrival of a new route, named Watkins Glen International. Here is its official description:

Nicknamed “The Glen”, the Watkins Glen International is a historic road course in New York State, approximately 420 kilometers northwest of New York, which opened in 1956 and is surrounded by rolling hills . The first half of the circuit is made up of high-speed sections with medium-to-high speed corners, while the second half includes a succession of tight and technical corners.

The undulating circuit is also narrow, which encourages intense clashes during the race. The straight leads to a high-speed chicane, immediately followed by a right-hander that leads to a section of banked corners (Outer Loop), one of the most memorable moments of the circuit. From there, this long circuit reaches its technical part, which is called “The Boot”, while the short version of the circuit abandons this segment entirely.

Finally, three new menus are to be found at the Café, each consisting of several tests.

See you tomorrow to take advantage of all this.
