Besides the certain logic of releasing it after team 7 (even if team 10 with Ino, Shikamaru and Chôji would also have its consistency), it is above all by the reputation of the leaker that this rumor may be relevant. It was Shiina, a well-known Fortnite influencer, who spoke about it in a tweet at the end of May:

Rumor: Apparently, the person who posted the battle royal leak would have posted a few minutes later that a collaboration between Naruto and Fortnite would take place in June.
