Game News Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: All Viking culture on your console with the Discovery Tour!

The Discovery Tour mode, centered on the story of Assassin’s Creed, is back and arrives in a new formula to discover the universe of the Vikings on consoles with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Never two without three !

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: All Viking culture on your console with the Discovery Tour!

First included as downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed Origins in February 2018, the Discovery Tour is presented as an educational mode allowing you to discover and explore the universe of the game through ” a map devoid of clashes and gameplay constraints“. Renewed in September 2019 with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey then in October 2021 on PC only with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the Discovery Tour is now available on consoles. While included as a free Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update, the experience is also coming out in a stand-alone version for players who don’t own the base game.

This trip to the Viking Age is sold for $19.99 on Playstation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One as well as on Stadia, via the respective online digital stores.

A little trip to the Vikings

In addition to a new list of 12 trophies, the Discover Tour of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla offers you a real journey to the heart of the Viking Age from the 9th to the 11th century, based on historical facts collected from historians, d archaeologists and scholars. Without just being a spectator this time, the player embodies a key player within the different stories. The experience is therefore renewed and offers to relive the history of the Vikings through 8 scripted quests, thus intensifying the storytelling and immersion. Enough to make you want to roam the Norwegian and Anglo-Saxon lands without forgetting the kingdoms of Jotunheim and Asgard around Nordic mythology.

If this new Discovery Tour mode is already available, an announcement is expected to be made during the Assassin’s Creed celebration livestream to be held tonight at 6 p.m. on Ubisoft’s Twitch and You Tube channels.
