Game News A Plague Tale Requiem offers a making-of. A trailer to come in the Xbox Games Showcase?
Since its announcement at E3 2021, A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to the adventures of Amicia and Hugo, has been long overdue. But today, as promised, the title made a nice appearance at the Tribeca Games Showcase.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is revealed in a making-of
After being forced to flee their home in the midst of the Hundred Years War to escape the Inquisition in A Plague Tale: Innocence, Amicia and Hugo faced many obstacles. Unfortunately for them – but fortunately for the players – their journey is not over yet. A new opus was indeed presented during E3 2021, which created the euphoria of the fans. Today, this sequel, entitled A Plague Tale: Requiem, which has been eyeing us for many months now, is back. She takes advantage of the Tribeca Games Showcase to unveil images of the game and the launch of a playable demo for players who pass through New York (we will come back to this).
As you can see by watching the making-of available above, we can see again Amicia and Hugo working together to face this hostile world. which is once again ravaged by the forces of the Inquisition and of course the plague. But what we see above all is that the few extracts revealed show graphics to die for; logical, since the title will be above all a PC and next-gen production (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S). The game will also be available on Nintendo Switch (via the Cloud) and Xbox Game Pass.
This making-of, available in French, also allows you to learn more about the development of the game and the history of the studio. which has grown from 12 to 250 developers over the years, just that.
A demo for A Plague Tale: Requiem
The lucky ones who have managed to obtain a ticket to attend the Tribeca Games Showcase will be able, from June 11, to discover in New York, the venue of the event, a playable demo presenting the first 40 minutes of the game. The implementation of this proposal of several minutes of play shows that the project is well advanced and that we will be entitled to real gameplay extracts in the days to come… Why not during the Microsoft conference (Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022)? So all you have to do is be patient.
