New anti-vaccine overflow this Saturday, December 4 in Luxembourg. A demonstration got out of hand when the protesters brought down the barriers of the Christmas market, accessible only to holders of a health pass. The market was closed.
CovidCheck is what Luxembourgers call their “health pass”. And as in France, it is mandatory to access many places. On Saturday, demonstrators hostile to the vaccine against the Covid-19 demonstrated in the city of Luxembourg, they were around 2000. Only, they wished to show their hostility in a more vehement way and attacked the Christmas market in the city.
Indeed, after having brought down the barriers installed to control the passes, they entered the market in large numbers, creating in particular jostling with the traders who were there. For security reasons, the market was closed following this incident.
