Game news STALKER 2: impressive visuals for the Xbox temporary exclusive
After Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite, Microsoft will once again hit hard with a game that promises to be visually successful. Announced, then canceled, then announced again, STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl will soon become reality and, as if to prove it, reveals images that are worth seeing.
Welcome to the Zone
A few days ago, we learned the estimated size of the title of GSC: 180 GB on Xbox Series and 150 GB on PC. A significant weight which is not really a surprise. Indeed, STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl will be one of the first games to run on Unreal Engine 5. We therefore expect great improvements, especially on the graphics side. And on this point, GSC does not seem ready to disappoint us.
The studio has indeed unveiled five new visuals. And the least we can say is that they make you want to. We can see there very different places, ranging from flourishing valleys to macabre rubble. It is clear that the Zone surrounding Prypiat has changed a lot since STALKER. With these images in FPS view, we can expect a very nice game in April 2022.
Apart from that, what do we know about the game?
In other words, exploring every corner of the Zone promises to be exhilarating. But beware, pretty does not mean harmless. Venturing freely into the Zone will not be easy. You will need to pay attention to your level of fatigue, hunger and thirst so as not to waste away. And that’s without counting the anomalies that will give you much more trouble than in the previous opus.
In STALKER 2, you will also be able to discover new individuals. This is particularly the case for members of the Warta, a military group seeking to regain control of the Zone. It will be up to you to decide whether or not to help them.
Content level, we expect no less than 100 hours of play, to which will be added post-launch content (including a PVP mode). GSC has already announced that official and full mod support will also be made available.
As a reminder, STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl will be available from April 28, 2022 on PC and Xbox Series.
