Game news Pokémon Unite: The title explodes thanks to mobiles, rewarded players!

On July 21, 2021, TiMi Studio released Pokémon Unite on Switch, a lightweight MOBA featuring the famous creatures from Game Freak. Two months later, the title landed on iOS and Android devices, and as much to say that the progression was important.

A spectacular progression for the Pokémon moba

Free and equipped with micro-transactions, Pokémon Unite invites players to use different pokémons, to team up and to score points with the opponent. More accessible than a League of Legends, the title was a great success on Nintendo Switch, being downloaded over 9 million times. New pokemon are added regularly, and items like costumes can be obtained by playing and / or purchasing the Season Pass. While the downloads on Switch were quite satisfactory, Pokémon Unite has reached a real milestone thanks to its mobile release. Yesterday, TiMi Studios announced on Twitter that Pokémon Unite had passed the 50 million downloads mark.

A very nice performance and progression, which, however, do not allow the title to enter the Top 10 on Google Play and on the App Store. To celebrate the news, TiMi announces that players who connect between December 9 and January 31 will receive 2,000 Aeos tickets. These allow you to improve held items, but also to afford cosmetics and temporary boosts. Moreover, the date of December 9 was not chosen at random, since This is the day when a new Pokémon, the 28th without counting the evolutions, will be added to the roster. This is Sucreine, which will be offered to players who have completed a certain number of missions. The pokemon will be of the Versatile type, and seems very oriented towards melee. As a reminder, on November 19, it’s Archéduc, the definitive evolution of one of the most popular starters (Brindibou), who joined the list of fighting pokemon.
