Zack Snyder is today one of the most prolific directors and especially the favorite of DC fans, who believe that he has produced the best films of the DC Extended Universe. He’s the man behind man of steel (2013), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017 and 2021) and produced many more. The success of these films having helped promote other films like Aquaman and Suicide Squad. In addition to his work at DC Films, the American director is particularly known for the film 300 (2007). Now a partner of the Netflix SVOD platform on several films, Zack Snyder has many projects in progress, such as the highly anticipated space-opera Rebel Mooncurrently being filmed, or the sequel to Army of the Dead, entitled Planet of the Dead.
It is a publication of Zack Snyder on the social network Vero which panics the fans since June 12. The American director posted an old photo where he poses next to Henry Cavill as Superman, with a caption reading: “My Superman, past, present and future”. Although the caption also has the hashtag Superman Daya day celebrating the character since 2013, many want to see it as an innuendo suggesting that Zack Snyder will soon be called upon to direct another superhero film at DC.
At this time, the IMDB site makes no mention of a new Superman movie. In contrast, the specialized site lists several future DC projects of which Zack Snyder would be the producer : Gotham City Sirens, Deadshot, as well as a film whose title has not yet been revealed. Very little information about these films is available at this time. Anyway, this is not the end of the adventures of Zack Snyder at DC studios. Given the popularity of his films with fans, the director’s greater involvement in future DC productions could redistribute the cards in the face of competition from Marvel.
