A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in Spain on suspicion of shooting dead his parents and his 10-year-old brother after an argument over his school results.
A sordid tragedy has occurred in southern Spain near Alicante: a 15-year-old, angry after being scolded for his poor grades, allegedly killed his mother, brother and father. According to Le Parisien, it was his aunt who gave the alert on Friday February 11 after going to their home, for lack of news. She would have found the young man alone with the three corpses in the house.

The teenager explained that he “had an argument with his mother about his grades at school and that he used his father’s shotgun to kill her. He then allegedly shot his little brother dead. 10 years old and his father. He would have shot him several times “to keep him quiet”, according to the daily El Mundo. The teenager remained in the house locked up until the arrival of his aunt.
Three days of mourning have been decreed in the town.
