From 1990, with the invasion of Kuwait, and the following year with the start of the Yugoslav wars. Then in 2001, with the outbreak of the “war against terrorism” following the attacks of September 11. In 2008, with the Russian offensive in Georgia. And, of course, in 2014, with the annexation of Crimea, and the beginning of what must be called the “Ukrainian wars”.
