Aquaman 2: a future compromise for Amber Heard?
Beyond the fine imposed on Amber Heard, it is her role in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom which could be heavily impacted. First, the actress confirmed during her trial that she had received several scripts, the latest versions of which took several action scenes from her.. Three days ago, it was a reputable insider named KC Walsh who mentioned that the scenes integrating Amber Heard could simply be removed, thus erasing the presence of the actress from the film. KC Walsh shared on Twitter an exchange of text messages where there is talk of a meeting between Warner Bros officials who have chosen to remove the scenes of Amber Heard from Aquaman 2.

As a reminder, Amber Heard plays Mera in the DC Extended Universe. She is the love interest of Aquaman, the King of the Seas, and is logically considered the Queen of the Seas since she also has superpowers. A rather symbolic character who could die during her delivery at the start of this second opus, to justify the absence of the actress in the film. As a reminder, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is expected in theaters on March 17, 2023.
