Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Western countries that Russia will hit new targets if the United States starts supplying Ukraine with long-range missiles, the TASS news agency reported on Sunday.
If such missiles are delivered, “we will hit those targets that we have not hit yet,” the Russian president told Russia-1 television. However, Vladimir Putin did not specifically name these new targets. The Russian President considers that delivery of arms to Ukraine are intended to prolong the conflict.

Ukraine is seeking to equip itself with multiple launch rocket systems like the M270 and M142 Himars to hit Russian positions and their weapon stockpiles. US President Joe Biden pledged to supply Ukraine with Himars rocket launcher systems after receiving assurances from Ukrainians that these weapons would not be used to strike targets inside Russian territory.
Despite these warnings from Moscow, Vladimir Putin believes that these advanced weapons deliveries should not radically change the situation on the battlefield.
