Several explosions shook the Ukrainian capital Kyiv this Sunday morning, June 5, said the mayor of the city Vitali Klitchko.
Vitali Klitchko clarified on the Telegram messaging app that the explosions took place in two districts of the capital and that the emergency services were on the scene.
A hospitalized person
The mayor of Kyiv said that at least one person had been hospitalized but there were no fatalities to deplore. On Saturday, Kyiv said the Ukrainian army managed to repel advancing Russian troops in Sievierodonetsk, as fighting rages around the industrial city where Russian soldiers are focusing their offensive to take control of Donbass.
