After the astonishing commercial success of Sonic the Film, its sequel is about to come to light: here is a very first poster as well as some additional details.
Adapting Sonic to a live-action film was a risky bet, and yet: the adaptation released in 2020 was a huge commercial success with $ 306 million raised atu box office, making one of the biggest boxes in a year marred by the COVID-19 crisis. Suffice to say that it did not take more to convince Paramount and SEGA to to tackle a sequel in good and due form: it is just beginning to take shape very seriously.

The great novelty of Sonic the Movie 2 is undoubtedly the arrival of an iconic character from the famous saga, namely good old Tails: good news, after months and months of teasing, the production is finally decided to show a first concrete image of the film and, therefore, of its main characters through a poster in due form.
We can thus see a certain blue hedgehog and his fox friend, with a particularly respectful look. which reminds us that the design of Sonic which had made such a bad buzz is now well behind us. The poster also gives us a visual of Dr. Robotnik, still played by Jim Carrey. and which will register this time in an appearance much closer to that of video games, following the events of the first film.

First of all, we now know who will take care of playing Tails, namely the actress Collen OShaughenessey : it is precisely she who has doubled the character since 2014! Note that Knuckes should also be present in the feature film, with Idris Elba to lend him his voice.
