It also bears the sweet name of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, which should sum up the scale of the project quite well. : the iconic franchise is about to make its big comeback and more than ever, this new title is doing everything to attract attention.
The latest find from the publisher? Display the characters and the logo of the game on the biggest monuments of Europe thanks to a huge overhead projector. An effective formula to talk about yourself and elsewhere, an official video has just been concocted for the occasion: we can see Captain Price, Ghost and other elite soldiers on buildings in London, England or Berlin. in Germany.
As for France, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 showed off in Paris on iconic buildings like many arches, including La Défense or Porte Saint Denis, just that. A hell of a promo for a game… that we still haven’t seen in practice.
A reveal soon?
Between this video and the previous one, everything suggests that Activision is about to finally unveil Call of Duty MW2. Alas, we still don’t have a concrete reveal date to get your teeth into. but it is seriously rumored that this would take place at the beginning of June : the presentation would initially focus on the single-player campaign, with gameplay released in the following weeks.
As for multiplayer, an emblematic part of each COD, the month of August would serve precisely to show it off as it should be with a large beta organized first on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
